I am using the mealsdb api in order to source a fair bit of data to display for the webpage, mealsdb shows you how to use it and its fairly simple

Each time the homepage/index page is loaded it will grab random recipes from the api to display them in cards which when clicked show more in depth information also grabbed from the db

I opted not to create files other than html (yes I know I didn't use the external css for that mark) which also includes the javascript I used being internal to the page

I tried to make it not look horrible so I rounded corners, added padding and chose some colours to highlight cards and buttons better

The navigation is simple, click button or card to go forward, click button added to each page to go back to the homepage

I did use the await function to help me grab what I need and some extra cases to handle missing information.
